Project Synopsis

757 Collective is a showcase of the 757 area code’s landscape, culture and community. It’s roots are on Instagram where it features the work of local photographers and artists as well as information on local businesses that are the heartbeat of the region. Instagram users apply the hashtag #757collective to photos taken in the 757 area code, or the hashtag #757localbiz on photos of local businesses, for a chance to be featured. We built this account from scratch and have guided it to become southeastern Virginia’s largest Instagram hub account and the most influential account in the Hampton Roads region.
